Cleaning hacks | HOW TO CLEAN BURNt PANS
Ingredients you’ll need
1.Your already burnt pan
2.Vinegar: I prefer white distilled vinegar, but apple cider vinegar works too. I get mine at H-E-B (Texans will understand) or any grocery store.
3.Baking Soda: My go-to is Arm & Hammer. It forms a paste with vinegar, creating a bubbling reaction that makes it easier to remove stuck-on food from your pan.
4.Sponge: Any sponge works, but I recommend the Sponge Daddy for its durability.
Steps
Step # 1
Pour equal parts of water and white vinegar into your burnt pan, like 1/2 cup of each. Bring it to a boil on medium heat. Leave it for a few minutes or until the mixture is hot. Turn off the heat, throe the liquid into the sink, and let the pan cool down.
Step # 2
Create a mixture of vinegar and baking soda and put in in the pan. Add 1/2 cup of baking soda and another 1/2 cup of vinegar (yes, you’ll need extra vinegar). Witness the bubbly reaction, and your next step is to scrub scrub scrub.
Step # 3
Grab your favorite sponge, but be prepared to say goodbye with it after scrubbing the burnt residue in your pan. You’ll be amazed at how easily the burn comes off. Optionally, add a bit of liquid dish soap to the mix and keep scrubbing until your pan transforms into its original color.
Overall, this is the hack that I swear by for keeping my pans clean and tidy. Give it a try and see for yourself how much easier it is to remove burnt residue.
