Are you entering into the world of kitchen organization? Here’s how I created the best spice organization idea for small spaces.
My resolution for 2024 was to enhance the organization in my Kitchen. My inspiration was the constant Pinterest content I see on kitchen organization. Literally, every jar is labeled and each product has a designated place. After conducting thorough research, I found plenty of spice organization ideas, particularly leaning towards organizing spices in the pantry or cabinets. Unfortunately, none of them worked for me since I live in an apartment without a pantry.
I had to find something that really worked for me. Starting with the idea that, in my perfect world, spices need to be close to the stove and not hidden away somewhere unreachable. You know what I mean? I was paying attention to the organizational storage ideas of other girls that looked really nice, but they were always far from the stove, which is normally where you prepare food. On average, women are 5.3 feet tall and when it comes to the kitchen and cooking, things need to be within our reach.
This makes sense to me and everyone can replicate the process because it is not expensive at all. The kitchen looks more neat and put together with this idea . Hopefully this spice organization for countertop space works for you too.
This post is all about the best spice organization rack idea.
Steps for Spice Organization Idea:
Your Supplies:
1)Shelf Organizer:
3 Tiered Shelf Organizer : I didn’t like the revolving spice rack idea. When I’m cooking, I want to easily see the condiments and grab them without extra steps. So, I decided to buy the 3-tier shelf organizer . Mainly ,because I am able to see all of the condiments in one place. I really like this one because it expands and can has space for more spices.
2)Spice Jars with Labels:
Glass spice jars: I love these glass spice jars. They come with labels already, making it so easy to organize the condiments. They come 24 jars in the package and I think it is enough for the limited space I have.
If you don’t like this condiment jars you can get other jars on these places:
- Amazon
- Dollar Store
- Target
- Walmart
- Home Goods
3) DIY Label Stickers:
Create your own designs using Canva adding the colors and fonts you prefer. Usually the labels are 2.25” x 1.25”. Print them with Printable White Sticker Paper or opt to buy cool spice jars labels on Etsy.
